Cookie Care
- Cookies remain fresh for up to 6 weeks (sealed) at room temperature
- Do not refrigerate - this will cause moisture in the bags and damage to any decorative details.
- Avoid exposing cookies to direct sunlight and high temperatures for the same reason as refrigeration.
- You can freeze them!
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to three months in the freezer.
- To thaw: leave the container out at room temperature (without opening it) for about 4 hours

While I've been a casual customer of Hello Dolly's over the last few years (picking up cookies, stationary, and accessories at ComicCons, and in store) I feel that posting a review has been long overdue!
The owner and staff are always so friendly and kind, and the cookies are delicious! And their cookie advent calendars are so much fun - highly recommend ordering one! I adore ScienceCobs designs and stationery and I have several pieces of hair accessories from Angelita & Co.
Most recently I placed a custom cookie order for the first time for an event (Bridal Shower - Sailor Moon themed) and the outcome blew me away! They turned out so incredible, I love/loved them so so so much. I can't thank you enough. I could feel the love and effort that was put into designing and making them. In addition, I needed a few of the cookies to be vegan/gluten free and they were able to accommodate for that as well.
They were a hit at the event too :)

This place is amazing! I have been waiting 2 years to come here, and it was worth the wait.
The cookies are ABSOLUTELY adorable and delicious! Not only that, but their entire kitchen is NUT-FREE. Which, for someone like me who has a life threatening nut allergy, is a god send.
They also sell a lot of cute merch (tote bags, keychains, badge pins etc) and I LOVE that they’re queer friendly, and pay their employees a liveable wage.
The owners and staff are so kind, friendly, and welcoming. They are wonderful people, and definitely deserve ALL your business! Go go go go go!!!! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Ottawa. :)

I ordered a Fallout themed caked for my partner's birthday and I was so stunned at the beautiful piece of literal art I picked up! It really tied the party theme together and was insanely delicious on top of that.
K was extremely kind and communicative throughout the ordering process, and their pickup reminders and system were extremely helpful. I really appreciated them for accommodating our needs and their wonderful staff for running with the theme and going beyond my imagination and expectations to make it spectacular.
I have to confess that I'm now completely obsessed with their meringues and will 100% be ordering and purchasing from Hello Dolly again!
The birthday boy adds: The cake was so delicious and really gorgeous, almost felt like a shame to cut into it (but very worth it!). I was really impressed with the level of detail, it was so on theme. The attached meringues and cookies were awesome!

Super cute shop and cookie store! Love the assortment of goodies and sugar cookies, as well as the products from Science Cobs and other local vendors on the side. Love how cute the store is! The cookies taste delicious and are hand decorated so beautifully.

Adorable little shop with fun colours and a very inviting vibe. Purchased a paintable sugar cookie which my son loved painting. The taste was delicious and the perfect texture. I got 2 mini cakes 🎂 raspberry white chocolate and chocolate ganache. The chocolate was by far my fav, and I loved the beautifully decorated top.

I love stopping in at Hello Dolly for a treat when I can! The sugar cookies are so cute and delicious. I've had a mini red velvet cake that was so so good. Moist and delicious. I've also purchased keychains, stickers and cards. Love love love everything about the bakery. It's started to become my go-to for gifts to friends and family.

Hello Dolly Pastries is absolutely amazing! My daughter wanted a Pusheen themed birthday party, and we needed our treats to be vegan, this team created the most gorgeous and delicious cookies imaginable. This made one 10 year olds dreams come true, I can’t thank you guys enough!!

This review is a little late however. I ordered the red velvet cake for my partner and she said it was one of the best cakes she's ever had. Service was quick, friendly and amazing. I want to say an extra thank you for holding the door open for my stroller and for giving my son a laugh. 10/10

The loveliest cookies with the cutest designs! Great option for me (with my nut allergy) but they also have vegan and GF options. The seasonal items also include cake and meringues sometimes which are also delicious. The sweetest owner/baker and staff ♥️

Absolutely delightful experience at this charming cookie shop! From the scrumptious cookies to the delightful Christmas advent calendars (that are a must), every treat was simply delicious. The cookies are incredible. The cookie itself is delicious and moist, the icing is not too thick but still gives that classic royal icing crunch and the decorations are 10/10. These cookies were so good I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of them.
They offered a quick turnaround on a custom order of custom printed cookies and pick them up during their regular business hours and were extremely helpful and communicated every step of the way.

I've purchased cookies from Hello Dolly's new storefront twice and they've been consistently delicious! A really high quality, well-made cookie with a fantastic, balanced icing. An excellent addition to Hintonburg and I'm excited to see their roll-out of new products. I've only bought for myself thus far, but I'm looking forward to gifting these artful creations to friends and family.
